Your baby is now about 22mm long and looks more human. Arms, elbows, and toes are visible. Facial features are forming, including eyelids and a little mouth. Muscles, teeth, and taste buds begin to develop. The major organs are hard at work.
Your Body This Week
Breasts may feel bigger, and your waist could be thickening. Hormones are peaking, which might make you feel like you're on an emotional rollercoaster. Feeling unwell is still common, but relief is on the horizon.
Tips for Your Partner
Encourage her that the first trimester is almost over. Plan a relaxing date night, and help her stay hydrated. Stay calm and supportive, and remind her to take supplements as prescribed.
